Magnaflow?
What would be the sound difference from stock muffler to the SS Magnaflow muffler that JDM sells? And can anyone give me a ball park figure of what JDM charges to install the Magnaflow muffler?
Thanks in advance.

I have the JDM/Magnaflow #14568, single muffler c/b system. It is just slightly louder than stock at idle/cruise. I can't hear it at the track when I'm at WOT
. My local exhaust guy installed mine for $40.00.
They also have a different c/b that uses two round(like the 'old' glass packs) that they call their Silver Bullits. Never heard them myself but others say they are 'raucous' and 'mean' sounding.

The 14468 sounds much better than stock. A little louder under normal conditions, but really talks when the pedal hits the floor!
The 14568 is quieter than the 14468. Both are stainless. The alumunized ones begin with 15 instead of 14. I had my muffler installed by a local exhaust shop for around $100 which included bending new pipes from the muffler outlet to the tips. You can order the mufflers through Husker High Performance.
