Question about 20's

Hey,

I want to get the chrome rep 20's instead of the 18's, but i was wondering, for you guys with 20's, did you notice a big difference in the ride. Was it alot worse. Also Is it going to screw anything up with my gears or speedo. If so how do i fix it. Thanks

The effects on speedo and geers are so minimal you will never notice,,, the only thing i've noticed more is that i tend to ride bumps a little more( as there are lots of them in detroit area) but the nicer toyo proxies i have do a lot to make up for it as well.. Its a wash and well worth it all in the end,, you will love your 20's,, the compliments my truck gets are unbeleivable from stock to chrome 20's

The ride is just slightly harder, not enough to bother me. If you use 295/40/20 tires your speedometer will be off only 5 mph at 80 mph. In other words, if your'e running 80 the speedometer will read 75.

You'll have no problems, go for it, they look good.

My Roush suspension loves the firmer feel of the 20s (295/40ZR20 Dunlops). A 35 profile tire is almost the exact same circumfrence as the stock 18s, but the ride quality will suffer.
