Has anyone shown a quicker quarter mile after they installed the PSP/Factory Tech unit or the Line Mod valve from any other Tuner??

I just raced last weekend after puttin in the PSP accumulator body and I did not kick much *** at all. And in fairness it was a different track, different elevation, and way hotter, so all bets are off as to wheter it IS faster of just FEELS faster (which it most DEFINITELY does!)

You may pick up alittle with this mod, it makes the truck shift quicker and firmer. Its hard to explain but there is no lag in the shifts once you install the Factory Tach valve body...

It definitely improved the 1-2 shiftin my truck. It was slow and slippery before. Now it gets rubber on the shift.

I'd guess it was worth .01 - .02.

Doesn't seem like much improvement for $200. I guess i was hoping for a good tenth or so off the 1/4 mile since it does seem so slow to shift compared to one with a Line Mod or Factory Tech kit...

I think it is mostly to firm up the shifts to avoid wear due to clutch pack slippage. I just did the line mod vlv, but I can't give you a good answer cause I did the pulley and new chip at the same time.

Weedo,

You may see .1 in the 1/4. It is well worth the $200...

I think it's good for a tenth, but that's not the point, I KNOW it's good for an extra 30,000 miles on the tranny of a chipped truck and $200 is cheap for that.
