Question Please post where your idle is in drive

Trying to compare with others where the idle is in drive. Mine seems a little low.

Mines around 650-675. I think the spec calls for 675 in drive but I may be wrong.

Mine idles at right around 600 which I think is too low. It stalled on me making a quick turn at idle speed yesterday. The idle adjustment screw is on the side of the throttle body, right?

There is a screw on the back side of the T/B behind the linkage. I recently learned there is a lock down nut that was never tightened after the bilet T/B was put on. Mine has a phillips head screw.

I may be wrong but I don't think you want to jack with the TPS because it will affect the voltage at the TPS. That voltage should read between .92 - .98.

I'm by no means an expert, but I thought the idle had to be done on the chip (if you have one). If you adjust the throttle body, after a while the computer will "learn" that adjust meant and drop it down to where it was. Am I way off? Oh, and mines around 550, with the pulley, I get a little noise at idle, might have iot raised a little.

I've often wondered about that too, Mines around 600 at IDLE in drive and I would like for it to be around 700 to 750 in drive. and 800 in park. maybe I'll have sal reburn my chip again!
