Ya, cool as factory equip. Cheesy as little blue box on your dashboard that shines on your windshield!

Is there an option to get a box that says "Uncle Ben's" on it?

I think the HUD are the corvettes is Badass and a great idea on a performance car. But I agree that that little box looks dumb on the dash.

I agree, HUD's are cool, only from the factory though. I would love to have one.

I had HUD on my GTP and I loved it. It's about the only thing I miss about that car. It's very helpful, and I believe a great safety feature.

You cannot see the display on the outside of the vehicle, the windshield has a special coating/insert in that portion, and is only visible from a direct straight on angle.

Aftermarket HUDs are different. You have to have that box, and have to stick the 'viewer thingy' on the windshield. Not very elegant looking.

my dad had a HUD on his 91 cutlass supreme international. it looked real kool on there because it was molded into the dash and showed more info on the windshield. that box sitting on the dash looks like ***** though.

The new factory HUD's are a lot nicer. No more box on the dash- it's built into the top of the dash panel.
