Took a look at the 2002 HD at my Ford dealer today, they have a plaque with thier vin number and built number(i think). Is there anyway we can get some thing like this done with our VIN, built date and number??????

 

I suggested the same on several of the board and while some think it would be a good idea, there have been no takers on fabbing one up. NLOC has a dash plate for sale, but it is not what I had envisioned.

 

I couldnt find the one they were offering on NLOC but the one that the HD has is really nice. Would be awesome if we could find somebody that could do this.

 

Can you post a pic of the HD one? I may know someone.

I have been thinking about making a plaque like this for my truck. Just havent decided on what it should look like and and where to put it. I first thought the best place would be where the plaque on the oem filter box was, but who has one of them anymore. Give me some ideas on what you guys would like on there and how it should look and ill make something up and see how you guys like it. I know some people that coulod make these for me and if enough people want them maybe it could be worth while to make.

 

I got my 2001 L in nov of 2001 and still havent gotten my dob and/or bulid date stuff. I did get a hat and some paperwork though. How long does it take?

 

Call SVT at 1-800-Ford-SVT. Have you're VIN number ready. They may even ask for proof of ownership (I had to fax the bill of sale to them.) They'll get you your build number and send you the certificate.

 

I took the badge from my factory intake which is aluminum and had it done as a plaque on the black part of the lower dash above the hump in the middle.No pics! Looks cool!Nice little detail... You can remove the badge with a simple hair dryer and a large blade.Be careful not to kink it!

Here a possible plaque, has a little more color. Anyone capable of doing this? Whatever design, I'd be willing to buy a couple.
