Unhappy Paint is messed up! Help!

I just recently polished my truck and found that there are a LOT of really fine specs of dark paint (I believe its paint) all over about 2/3 of my truck... including the windows. Its hard to see unless you are about 12 inches away from the paint but I'm sure this is dulling the finish considerably. I'm not sure when or where this happened but its VERY frustrating. I can scrape most of this stuff off of the windows but I'm having a really hard time buffing the paint.

Is a new paint job the best solution or should I continue polishing and buffing hoping I don't take off the clearcoat? This stuff is not easy at all to get off and I fear it is into the clearcoat....

HELP!

i would say clay bar it,should get it
off safely.for the windows u could use a razor blade
just keep the window wet with water or glass
cleaner when u do it.
dont buff the paint or compound it to much
u will start to cut into the clear and u dont want to
do that.

Depends what it is??? You could try some wax and grease remover it isn't as harsh as lacquer thinner but it won't dull your truck as bad. You will still want to buff your car out after you done though. Clay blocks works good as well.
