Sneek Peek at 03' Trim/Wheels Shhhh!
I can only tell you that this was shown to me from an inside source! The 03' Lightnings will have some Brushed Aluminum interior trim Door handles,*****,buttons,pedals etc. The rims look alot like the 99/00 but not as deep painted silver.No more White adding Yellow which was no secret. NO significant power upgrades! Look for a V10 possibly in the 04' overhall. Now being tested.

I sure hope that they beef up the 5.4, cause I had a 99 superduty with their V 10. I put on 3 different exhaust systems and that puppy sounds just awwwwful. No matter what you do, it sounds like a hopped up singer sewing machine. It may go fast but the sound is pure STINK!

No offense but i will believe it when i see it. I really doubt that ford will make any major changes to the lightning for 03 especailly and as big of a change as yellow and new rims. I mean i didnt see anything at all at the auto show in NY. Only Lightning they had there was a 02 black wasnt even trueblue the new color. Another thing that makes me think that yellow wont be made is that ford was gonna make it in 00 as the new color they went around with a silver and yellow and more people choose silver. Also look at the 30th anniversery stang just a badge. So no offense but like the SRT-10 i will believe it when i see it. I just think that if they do make a 03 lightning it will be like the 02. But personally i hope they dont should have made the production stop in 01 so that it was 3 years like the gen 1 and makes the gen 2 more exclusive. Also just think no major changes will take place until the Gen 3 thats if ford builds it. Just my $0.02 cents.

Well let's see...FORD goes ALL OUT on the last year of this body style Mustang with the Supercharged 03 COBRA.
Then with the 10 year Anniversarry of SVT (93-03)...they just up and drop the Lightning......or worse.....simply ignore it. NOT!!
You know they will do something special....whether colors, wheels or performance.....but something will most assuredly be done.
I say....Bring back TEAL as an SVT color !!!!
