400/500 club! I'm in
got the truck dynoed with the lt's today.
i only ran the truck on the cold weather program as i didn't have a bung welded in yet and i didn't trust the a/f coming out the back
previously i made 396 and 493 on the race program, (20 deg timing)
the warm weather had netted me 374 and 494, this was in 70-75
degrees(17 degrees timing)
as sal has said these trucks add 3 degrees from 90 down to 50 degrees, so i figure my race was around 21, and my warm weather was at 18 on these dyno runs.
it was about 45 degrees out today, the cold weather is set at 14 so that means i had 17 degrees of timing with the temp today.
the truck made 402.5 corrected and 523.9 corrected!
thats about a 6hp and 20 ft/lb pickup,
however, with a dyno tune, and on the race program, i am sure there is more to be had, as there is 6 more degrees of timing there.
i am figuring once tuned, 20hp and 30 ft/lbs will be about what i'll see. i know the street to race program is good before for about 22hp and the same torque, with the 6 pickup and 20 torque i saw today, these are my guestimates
heres the dyno

Shouldn't the name of the dyno sheet say "402hp" instead of "502hp". I am just giving ya a hard time.......great numbers Beef.

Hey Beef, great numbers, and the curve looks good as well. Power all the way through the band, and no peaks. From what you posted, you actually picked up about 28 hp, not 6hp. Since you dynoed today on the winter street program, and the closest previous dyno to that was the regular street program at 374hp, that's about a 28hp increase. If you would have run it on the race program, you'd probably have seen about 415 rwhp. So you got a nice gain for sure. BTW, I got your message today, but when I tried to call you back, it gave me some weird error message.

Nice numbers Beefcake! I did a little dyno'ing on Friday with some new mods and ended up at 420.4 hp and 522.1 ft.-lbs. Not a bad day at the dyno and the Dynojet was reading 85-86 degree air. Mods in sig... Figure a 6 lb. lower and some long tubes and cats and I'll be pushing 450/565 and with a custom tune the infamous 450/600 may not be out of the question.
