Source of Bassini stink isolated
I just got my Bassini kit installed. Prior to installing, I noticed during the parts inspection that some of the pipes had a dripped-in waxy kind of yellowish compound. I scraped some of it out and put it over a flame. Phew... After installing the pipes and warming up the beast, same smell. So whatever that stuff is, that's the source of the smell.
BTW I notice much stronger midrange and top-end with the Bassini system, not to mention a helluva GP sound at WOT.

The Bassani system does sound awesome, I love mine and am ditching it for the JDM longtubes and full exhaust, from what I have heard this system sounds even better. If it does than that is awesome because I love the way my truck sounds with the full Bassani. I can't wait to hear it under a full throttle run.

I would keep your cat-back and install the long tubes and high flow cats the sound is down right nasty!!!!!!!!!
Besides it will save you some coin since you already have the cat - back...

A few people have told me that, and it does sould like the smart thing to do. But, and isn't there always a but
I really want to be a driving advertisment for JDM. So I would like to run as much of what he has to offer that I can afford. Some may think that is wierd or crazy, but when I decide to do something I like to do it all the way if posible and I always give everything 130 percent.

I really want to be a driving advertisment for JDM. So I would like to run as much of what he has to offer that I can afford. Some may think that is wierd or crazy, but when I decide to do something I like to do it all the way if posible and I always give everything 130 percent. Bill
