When you unplug the bat to flip the chip switch. How long do i leave it unpluged before going.

 

I remove the negative battery cable, turn on the headlight switch(for about 5 minutes), turn the headlight switch off, and reconnect the battery cable when changing chips. For a flip-chip, you can remove the ignition key, flip the chip, put the key back in and start and stop the engine three times or you can just flip the chip while driving and drive a while as the PCM relearns .

Look here, I don't think you need to unplug at all..I don't have a flip chip.............JR
