Friday Night at Mountain Dragway !!!

Drove up to the gate and the Lady sez:

"Cool truck ... There's already another one just like it here!"

Great I says, maybe someone I know.... I just got back
in town and hadn't been on the boards, so I was surprised
to see Crazyone sitting in the green grass, relaxing ...

We had a blast running each other (I'll let HIM tell
you who won!) But I was the most consistant that
I have been yet.

Now I need MO MONEY and a drive to see Sal !!!

Oh, I will say my stocker held up pretty well against
Crazy's modded monster ... and he is much more
experienced at this race thing than I am .... <Those
are EXCUSES, just in case y'all don't recognise 'em>

Later ...

Here's the trucks ... (How do you put a picture IN
the message????)

SVT_KY,
all you have to do is put {img} on the left and {/img} on the right side of the url with no spavcs in between bracket and first or last letter:

{img}http.......................1151{/img}

NOTE....this will not work this way, you will HAVE to replace the { } with []

nice pic by the way......JR

I went the follow friday that you and I was there. On my bike the best that I could do was 12.085 still at 117mph though. I guess the temp of the day has a lot to do with it. It was 60's when we where there may best was 11.85 at 116mph, and low 80's when a friend I went. Does the temp really make that big of a change??? Anyone know the answer who much the temp hurts a run. Thanks in advance.

I was wondering when that would happen. It did look might tight in that helmet. *LOL* I was out shopping for my SVT today. I'll only say, I won't be going back to Paul Miller to buy anything from them, that's for sure. Go to the general board and see my post. I guess I should posted it here, would have gotten more sympathy.

Yep, paul miller sucks *****.

Make teh short drive to winchester to cole ford. they have two on their lot, a blue one and a red one.

I have dealt with them many times in teh past, not only are they great to deal with sales wise, but the head dude in service owned a 99 L and a 01 L and is VERY 'up' on them

Paul miller techs are jack a$$es. As are their sales people.

if you wanna go down there and take a look give me a hollar and i'l call um and get ya taken care of.

wow, well compared to PMF, one complaint vs EVERYONE that has dealt with them. I still think they are pretty good. =)

What happened with your cobra?

Motorcycleman,

Crazyone is right on about Cole Ford, they have always treated me very well, I'm sure they will treat you well also.

Too bad is is raining today, I would like to meet some fellow L owners here in town. Looks like you guys had fun last night at Clay City, wish I could have been there to see what the L will run this year. Last time I was there I was running 12.60's and the latest chip that Jim @ JDM has given me feels stronger than ever! Someday I'll finally get to meet you guys.

That I will do man, thanks for your help there. I won't be really ready till sometime in Aug or maybe Sep. I have a few bills I'd like to pay off so I won't have to live from pay day to pay day. I hate doing that, if I want to do something or go someplace, I just pack up and go now, but with the truck I'd have to think more about it to see if I could afford it or not. I hate living like that, nor am use to it. I'z be a poor man.

Never drive/ride faster then your angel can fly...
Trust me, I have one fast angel.

Can anyone help me with putting the above statement in my signature. Thanks in advance.

O one more thing....Thunder Over Louisville is today. Air show starts at 3pm and the fire works at dusk. If you've never been, it is one of the BADDEST fireworks display in the world. They have the fireworks display come rain or clear skys, they say it is so big that it can not be reschedule, and if you can't make it, they show it on TV, well at least in Lexington they show it, not real for sure about anywhere else. I'll be there today, so no F-150 for me today.
