Richard- You can't make everyone happy. You probably have been the most helpful person on the board, At least in my opinion. The Very first time i posted you answered my questions in a hurry and correctly. Don't worry about what one person says, LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE. You are liked and respected by i would have to say 99% of the people here, Thats good enough. Why worry about what people think they don't even really know you. I am not going to try in defend anyone, I was not there. But without naming any names I will say this, I have been there on a few occasions and I think I know where he is comming from. He has been burnt by a couple of guys that played the lets switch tuners game to better themselves, guys that he did a lot for and then left for a (better deal for them) and then some of the people that have been around for a while know what becomes of that. Now their new tuner is God and the last tuner is everything bad. I think if I was in his shoes I may have dealt with it different, but I'm not. You can only get burnt so many times and then you don't want to deal with that type of situation anymore. And sometimes you say things because of the way you feel about past dealings and how they turned out.
Tuners do talk about some people and things that they shouldn't in front of people that can't keep it to themselves, that is life and I have witnessed it first hand by more than one tuner, none of them can walk on water no matter how much we think that they can. They are human just like us and I think we are all guilty of stepping on our tounges at sometime in our life. Life goes on and you will need to let this go, remember we are all family and forgive and forget, and if you are happy where you are, than we all can be happy for you too.
If you sit back and read all these posts on this matter I think you will see it is turning into bashing a single tuner, and do you think he is the only one guilty of this? Of course not, so lets not make one of our tuners out to be the bad guy, ***** happens, thats life.

You bring up some good points bill. But I would have to disagree with you on some things here. its obvious that you folks are talking about ,*D*. I have been around long enough to know what has evolved over the years here. Ask yourself this.
How, and where did he come from? I know for a fact that SPIRO was burned by this guy, way back when, and was treated the same way as Richard is now. As was JL as well, and these guys even posted here notifiying us of all that, but poeple would believe differently, and thats that. Wasnt it Spiro that broguht JDM into this world? and he was one of the nicest guys around, ,but turned and sold out becasue we all didnt care enought o listen, we just wanted to believe broken promises from this company.
Here we had a good members, helped more than I could remember, experimented, and tested everything. Didnt Spiro and JL break new boundaries, and we al learned from it?
but when the time came, they got burned really bad, and probably lost many friends because of it. What did we all do?
believed and treated him or them, the way this is starting out here, basically name calling and what not.
So what if people travel from one tuner to another, its the business. And this all started with some pulley deal, im sure you senior members could remember this big ordeal.
people moved on, but most would not accept that, and decide to treat them as "outcasts".

Bottome line from my view:

This company weaseled its way into the "family", and has maintained its stature along the way, but not without leaving a little damage behind, and lots of fake and lost promises. good solid members were lost, and this is a shame on us all, a real shame!!

AMEN! Some of you guys are just toodamnuptight about who the hell burned a chip for you. Last time I checked, none of them ever sent ANYONE any money for sponsorship yet some preach and put them on the highest pedestal. It's very similar to some of the riced out Honda's I see with 4000 stickers on the car thinking Jackson Racing or K&N is the best thing since brown rice.

If you're happy with the chip and perfomance you got just say so and LEAVE IT AT THAT! You don't fight every Chevy owner that says something about Ford but don't let someone say something about "your" tuner. As for the "jumpers",well, it's your money. Hope you're happy.

I am not trying to bash anyone, nor am I trying to swtich to JDM. This was brought up before I even placed the recent order to JDM, thats what was the funny thing!! I didnt know about it, I called up there, Julie treated me like GOLD!! I didnt think anything other than she was trying to make me happy, me being a first time customer and all. Then when I gave her my info she was like, Why do I know your name? I said to her, I dont know? I am a PSP customer that needs some parts, and since these are the same parts he sells but you have them in I will order them. Then when some people found out that I had ordered from them and got such great service, they informed me of what they knew?? It all boils down to this. I am not liked by Jim & Justin for some reason. I will never down anyone for using JDM though. They are a great company and did take care of me on my order, but I only dealt with Julie. Just like I would never say anything bad about JLP, he was good to me the whole time I delt with him. Sal has been like gold to me and as well has everyong else on all of these boards. I dont want to **** anyone off with anything I do. I just wanted to make it clear to everyone and get opinions since I dont like my name to be slurred...

Like I said, it does not seem to be a money issue or anything, I was not trying to switch to JDM. All of this was said before I even ordered from JDM. Please everyone, dont base your feelings on what happened to me alone, just keep it in your mind as you read dealings from all of our tuners by each of us.

 

I kind of disagree man, I like to be on a personal level with anyone that I am spending large amounts of money with. Its kind of a trust bond if you know what I mean...

I want to know that if I spend, well lets say 10K on my truck, that it will be backed to perform how I want. I can not trust the answer that I would get from just anyone. But I do think any of them tuners have proved their stuff works. I dont eat, sleep, and dream of this truck or my tuner, but come time to talk about my Lightning, I talk about him with it....

 

It's called POL-I-TICS. Say it with me... Every "business man" will try to do EVERYTHING you stated to get YOUR money. I don't know of too many passive salesmen that make money. Well, maybe drug dealers. LOL

I don't know if what I typed came out all wrong earlier or not. Basically all I was trying to say, and trying to say again is none of the tuners are perfect, they have all made mistakes and misjudged people at some time or another. I just have seen enough tuner bashing and I didn't want to see this thread go that way. I would prefer to see no bashing, no matter who it is getting bashed, JDM, PSP, JLP they all provide us with such great products that I don't feel that is right to single them out for a laps of judgement. When I post to something like this I write too much and end up comming across much different than I ment it to be.
I wasn't saying that you were trying to switch from PSP to JDM but maybe it came across this way. This is the way I feel, If people don't like it than thats ok, that is all your right.
You found out from all of the positive feedback that you got that most people do value your opinions and contributions. I may be weird, but if it was me I think I would have left it there, but that is just me.
I better stop writing before I get too much more negitive feedback myself.
I think most peolpe on this board are a great value, I just could do without the negitive posts.
I know I don't have to read them if I don't want to, and you all have the right to free speech, I have heard that all before, and I can't change the way I am.
If I pi$$ed anyone off with my replies, I am sorry. And I do not live and die for any forum or tuner or my truck, sometimes I might get a little bit to carried away with things but that is just me.

Hearsay is not the best way to get your info. Not that it wouldn't necessarily be true but that's why it's not admissible in court.

I wonder why Julie might recognize your name? Let's see 2440+ post in 6 months or 14.17 post per day on this board alone, LOL. That motorcycle wreck left you with a lot of free time.

Apparently they're not deadset against you being a customer since they sold you a set of headers. They were there to help a brother out just Sal or JL would do. Who knows, when this is all said and done they might think differently of you, if what you heard is true.

Don't take it to heart. You have Sal as your go to guy but I sure JL or JDM would be happy to sell you parts if Sal is short on stock.
