Thumbs up

The big thing is to remember that we are all family, who cares what tuner you run. I think about the only thing you can get is a little bragging rights when your tuner sets a new record. I personally think it is great when ever some one has a new low E.T no matter who tuned it.
Maybe we all need a big group hug or something.lol
Richard you are ok by me brother.

Richard,
it's easy to talk chit about someone on the internet....Take it for what it's worth(nothing), don't get your panties in a wad about it......

Just consider the medium, everyone thinks they are BIG when they are on-line...........I wouldn't even waste my time worrying about it.....get on with your truck and go for it!!!

Richard,

When you first join the comunity, you were alittle ruff. But now that time has passed, and we have gotten to know you (respectivly), I find you to be a great member of our community. With the information that Sal, myself, and many other people here on this board have given you, you have turned it around and become a helpful your self.

Me personally,, it doesn't matter what you or anyone else runs,, i'll put in my truck whatever i feel like but thats just the way i am, just like your rims,,, they look great but not on my silver L,,, but you stiill have a beutiful truck. I personally have found everyone to be helpful on this board,, i've heard the same people who flame each other, make very helpful remarks the same day to the same people. I think it just depends on what day it is and what everyone feels like saying, just do your best and get your truck in the 10's whatever way you can and we'll all be very very proud of you

"Illegitimi non Carborundum."

"Don't let the bastards grind you down."

(Btw, I couldn't remember the Latin so I ran a www.google.com search using the word 'carborundum'--it amazes me what this engine can do.)

Richard,

You're cool. Don't worry about that type person.

I have suffered the same wrath from the haters. Below is an email I received from CantDrv55, just this past monday. Nice isn't it. I even sent him a reply apologizing for whatever I did to cross him and got no response. Extremely dirty words modified by me.

You can't please everybody so please yourself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I copied and pasted the below email from my inbox, sent to me by CantDrv55.

Start:

You must be the most pompus ****head I have yet to encounter on the f150 board. Does your attempt to act like you "know-it'all" simply cover up some insecurity you have?? Most probably you have a small ***** or you are henpecked. In any repsect...seek some therapy you ***hole.
Go ******* Yourself,
CantDrv55

End:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim

It should not matter what tuner you chose as long as your satisfied, I am not part of any team. I am a Lightning owner and just want my truck to be the best it can be.
I turned to JDM after I dealt with Sal for over 5 years.
While I like Sal and his knowledge of the Lightnings is great I just know he is to busy w/business to spend alot of time trying to sort out issues with a truck.
I finally drove the 212 miles and met with Jim and talked about my truck concerns and he was very helpful.
I finally made an appt to leave my truck at his shop and they addressed almost every issue I had with my truck.
Getting parts from the tuners is one thing, but having them installed properly and sorting out any mechanical issues is another.
I spoke to a few of you guys that have dealt with different tuners and just decided it was time for a change.
The workmanship that went in to my truck was better than any I had experienced.
all and all, I think the parts most tuners offer are very similiar but thats where the similarity ends.

As a 1st Gen owner I have observed all the issues that many of you 2nd Gen owners have experienced when it comes to tuner issues, I hope you realize your all Lightning owners, having more than one tuner available gives you other options.
If you happy with your tuner thats fine, but try not to make another Lightning owner Unhappy by talking someone down.
Most are great guys.
