I just got a 99 lightning 2 days ago . I know its not a 2001 but I love it. I put bassani headers, X pipe, and mufflers on it. I also have a pro flow what to do next to make it faster. PLEASE if anyone could give me suggestions on modifications I would really appreciate it. Thank you soo much!!!!!!

 

Toss a chip and pulley on her and let us know what you think then

99, 2001 no difference. Basically the same truck. Have fun and spend the extra money you saved on mods.

don't be fooled by dates, the 99's are just as capable of going fast too! my trucks a 99 and look at her.

As far as mods go, I would by a Chip and a good filter system and also buy a larger pulley. If you interested, I'm thinking about selling my 4lb lower pulley and getting a 6lb lower. $175 Free shipping too . its never really been used, I put it on the truck and the tranny went to chit. I'm just now getting it back together so this would be a good time.
