Damn that had to hurt, I don't care how many tires you got to brace the impact!

Unhappy

I live in Las Vegas Where you can rent all different kninds of cars. and while I was in the process of moving here I had the (9/2001)unfortunate opportunity to see a young couple rent a viper heading north on I-15. They passed me at about 85-90 then sped up to about 100 and started swaying then fishtailed into the dirt and started flipping about 20 ft from me as I was passing them. very long story short the driver was ejected and died after he was life flighted. I will NEVER buy or let alone ride in a Viper ever again. This still freaks me out

I don't know if this is true or not, but i've heard that the Viper is a very unforgiving car in the hands of an amateur, or with someone who isn't very experienced at driving a street legal race car. I heard of a lot of wrecks with the Viper, and in fact one of my coworker's dad totalled his Viper 1 month after buying. From what I was told, he was trying to impress someone off the line and ended up losing control when he powershifted into 2nd with his tail going sideways.
