That is a lot of money for nothing more than a throatier exhaust note. I'd like to think that if I spent that much i'd actually get added performance. JMO

Wrongdayj,
I read your build number! So what? Like all the mods in your sig amount to anything! What gain did you get out of your K&N? LOL.

I do take my act on the road! They are called Development trips! For Ford.

I'm 34. Own my home and add mods that make a difference. Engine mods that is! You really know how to spend the cash guy!

I was ok with your stupid reply until you added the W.C Fields comment. Sucker born every minute? Little chickadee! Sounds like you have a touch of P-ENVEY!

They have the cash, you don't! So it must be stupid? I think i did see your truck on the side of the road with all those cans in the bed! Grow up!

P.S. I am into throwing money away! I wear it on my wrist! It's called a ROLEX!

some people....

first of all, I experienced the JDM FULL system today. Not only does it sound good, it sure is purdy. But the key here is it IS functional. The key here is the more air in , the more air out. It is fact that putting a highflow system on a stock set up has actually dropped power....but with cold air intakes and 4-6 pound pulleys........that air has to go somewhere. I'm sure JDM didn't work to design this system just for sound, that can be left to all the other aftermarketers. Then again, anyone who wants to question a product should call down there and question directly who sells it, i'm sure they can answer your questions. By the way, the company is JDM Engineering.....not JDM We strictly sell aftermarket parts we purchase from outside venders. That's what summit and jegs are for.

Thumbs up

nslplight1,
You didn't! The person that thinks their a damn financial mod genius did!

As long as we are happy with our trucks! That's all that matters.
I wen't with the Magna-flow. I agree with you! The Flowmasters don't have a good sound in my opinion!

Thor.

Thor-

Easy man. I respect the fact that folks genuinely want the best parts for their Lightnings. And if people believe that the Bassani exhaust system is the way to go and that it's the best, then you are right. . .who the hell am I to tell them anything. Just trying to help. If I came off crappy, then I must say that it is not personal toward the people purchasing the stuff, it's that I'm bitter towards the company that makes the stuff. My cracks about you were je****l in nature. It's hard to convey that with just words on a screen. Just like it's hard to know about someone just from a few postings. Am I mechanically inclined, you bet. I've been fabricating suspension components for years. I've also raced many (5 to be exact) self-built 12, 11, and 10 second 87-93 Mustangs. I know what works, and I know the hows and whys. If I can convey some of this knowledge to help out some people (like I have here in the past) then I throw in my .02 cents. The people who snip back usually don't understand what I'm saying or take me out of context. That or I'm just dead wrong.

BTW- Just because the mods aren't listed in my signature, doesn't mean that I am unfamiliar with them, or don't install/test/compare them on some of the other project trucks. It's just that I, too, am not in a hurry to bolt on the first product I see untill I know everything about it.

You stated that you work with Ford development. Then you of all people should understand the need to help steer people who may not have the experience with the products out there and to help them make their vehicles perform their best. Some of the people on this board don't have the time, money, patience, or will to understand this stuff like the more technical folks do. So I feel it's kinda our place to help 'em out if they post a 'help me' question. Perhaps my words come off harsh. But there are alot of smooth talking salesmen out there who'll rip off the kid who saved 6 months for a mod in a minute. And like ILL_SVT said. . .if you are gonna lay down the long green, then you better get some results.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from.
