Post Rear Suspension (?)

Ok before I go purchase them......

I am thinking of dropping the rear a little lower then the 2" Belltech shackles I currently have. I was think of getting the 2" Hotchkis Leaf springs along with my shackles to drop the rear more.

Question

Is there anything I need to look out for? What about the pinion angle?

Thanks

I am not to sure about the leaf's changing the angle any. They may but I doubt it. You can always get some shims to change it if needed. Having the fiberglass springs is going to be hard on a daily driven truck though....

The Hotchkis Springs are Steel, does that make any difference in terms of drivebility and such.

How much payload am I losing?

What about towing my Jet Skis, am I still okay?

I wouldn't drop your truck that much if you tow with it, you'll only be able to put about 300 to 350 pounds in the back before you bottom out like crazy everywhere you go. Maybe if you do a C-section it would be ok, but I wouldn't go that low on a truck that tows stuff.

also, you will need a shim to correct the pinion angle with another 2inch's of drop.
