JDM cold air kit help!!

I don't know what I am doing wrong, but the foam/sponge part (the end of my JDM cold air kit that attaches to the hole in the fender wall) seems to move and create a small space so that it is not completely covering the hole. Then when you drive the truck, you can hear a small sound of air being squeezed through this small opening. How do you suggest I make this foam/sponge piece stay in place? Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Yeah mine did that too. Don 't worry about it to much it doesn't really pull much air from there anyway, since it's an open air filter. You can build a ram air set up if you want to help the decrease the amount of hot air it pulls in...

I guess I'm more concerned with the annoying sound of "wheezing" air that is coming through the small opening between the foam piece and the hole. Is there a way to keep the foam piece from moving?

Jason,

The wheezing noise is not from the foam piece, it's from the throttle body. Supposedly it is due to mis-matching of throttle body to the intake plenum. Not a problem so much as a sound. I thought it was kind of cool, as did many others.

Porting of the plenum should reduce this.
