Installed 2001 3rd LED brake light.
Installed a 2001/2002 3rd LED brake light today on my 2000...wasn't too hard...hardest part had to be getting the old rubber gromet out of the hole. I even filed the opening a little to get my GPS anetnna cable through the brakelight hole.
Pointer:
* You don't have to undo the whole headliner, just undo the two coat-hooks and the dome light. Then on the passenger side, pull up the plastic trim panel by the seatbelt and pull the liner out form under the rubber weather seal all the way to the front. This will let you get under the headliner on the side where the brakelight cable comes in.
Those LEDs are definately alot brighter then the standard lamps that were in the 1999/2000 lights.
