Hey Lightning guys... it's me again. As usual asking for help . Does anyone know the easiest way and best place to tap into the dimmer circuit for the dash lights? Just installed my Ultralite gauges and pillar pod (bitchin' combo BTW--matches the silver tach/speedo nearly perfect). Would like to wire them so they will dim with the dash dimmer switch--can't see how to tap into it?

run a feeder wire over to the ashtray, unravel a bit of the Satan tape(you'll see), and tap into the hot wire leading to the cupholder/ashtray light.

I have my pod wired into the dimmer switch - don't like it - you may - but I like to ride with the standard gauges on the low side and it turns out that the Autometers end up being too dark to read - just my 2 cents -
