I put the pulley and long tubes in the wind today..first time

I took a friend for a ride in my L today and ran the crap out of it. Today was the first time I have really stuck my foot in it since the four pound pulley, long tube headers, and high flow cats installation. I ran it up to about 120 and let off but it was still pulling like a freight train. Let me take that back, I think it would pull a freight train!!

My friend, an experienced mechanic, said; Sheeeittt, this is the fastest thing I've been in, in a long long time! He was beside himself talking about it. He went on and on about how fast it was.

He's right too. I'm totally impressed myself. I held out a long time before buying a pulley but finally gave in and got one. It and the long tubes make serious power together and combined with the Bassani catback it sounds like monster too!

Man, I love this truck! Two 230+ pound men in a 4800 pound truck and running like that!! Go figure, and I thought it was fast from the factory. hehehe Oh yeah, full tank of fuel too.

If this don't get me into the low 12's something bad is wrong.

Thanks for letting me brag.

Tim

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL

My buddy is a ford tech at a non SVT dealer. He has been racing cars for years. One day he did some work to the L (plugs, tranny flush, etc).I let him take it for a drive and he was amazed at the power.I had only been in the J49 program. When I told him I had 10 more RWHP in the J69 program. He could not believe it.
This truck was fast stock but JDM ENHANCED it is a BEAST.

I LOVE THIS TRUCK

Tim,

I hope the best for you, but since we have identical engine mods I doubt you will see low 12's. I always expect the worse than nothing is a dissappointment.

I would say 12.50's on a good day.

Soap,

I'm being optimistic I know, but 12.49 is low 12's. I'll settle for that! LOL

RT,

It feels like stock to me. It handles real good and stable but like I said before I haven't been on a track or in a position where I could really let it hang out.
