Window Vents??
qwerty
I like 'em a lot. My preference is not to paint them although they do look good that way on some of the Ls I've seen. Seems that painted ones would obscure my vision since I sit up fairly high in the truck.
Its also nice to be able to open your window a bit and not worry about rain coming in the window.....

they are functional if u live somewhere that it rains a lot. or if u smoke--which is just friggin stupid. but just to put them on for looks, id say NO!!!!!!! i think they rate right up there w/ headlight blackouts.
One word of advice...
If you do get the shades make sure you get the kind that don't use adhesive. They look much nicer IMO. They slide up under your weatherstripping for a clean look. They are also easier to install and de-install if need be. Just a few bucks more also....
I love having the window vents (WeatherTech by ClimAir) on my truck BUT I have had trouble keeping them on! They are the type that installs under the weather stripping and I agree that they look better. I've had them fall off riding down the road and going through car washes. This morning one blew off and I watched as it exploded in the highway!
The one I have left is ate up with road rash! Looks like I'll be buying a new pair now. I think I'll go to the ones with adhesive this time! Does anyone have this problem or have any comments before I go shopping?

I think they look good if A: You are a smoker
B: You are 70yrs old
C: You live in a retirement villiage
D: Your other car is a Caddy with the fake converitble roof and gold package.
Other than that they are yucky, and I live in the place of perpetual rain. I do have to admit that Cloneteks do look the best they can but it's just not for me.
