Unhappy Traction?? Please Help.....

Hey what's up i have 99 L with, a 90maf, chip filter 5#lower pulley, beafed up trans, level 10 shift kit, 2600 Pi stall, and my tires are perilli scorpion zero's much better then stock tires but since i did up my trand and got the pulley, i have horrible traction. From like a 30mph roll it's real real quick and i can beat like s/c mustang cobra's but today i tried racing just a 97 cobra with exhaust and a gear and i could launch woth sh*t! It pissed me off so bad, i hardly beat him, and now that guy has a big head and thinks his car is real fast. what should i do? Also i haven't gotten those drop shackles yet. Some other L guy told me that when he drop his truck it hooked up alot more. What do u guys suggest i should do? Also if i just get those nitto's in the rear will that solve my problem??? please help fast

IMHO........I don't think the Scorpions are a good traction tire at all. Buy some Nitto's and traction bars then you should hook a a little better

SVTPWR99,

I build a street/strip "slapper" bar that bolts to the rear springs. It can be installed in about 20-25 minutes woth common hand tools. It helps eliminate driveshaft problems, and it lifts the front of the truck, to transfer weight to the rear tires.

If you want further information, check my website below.

Sal at PSP should have bars in stock in a couple of days.

Give him a call!
