Reaction Time Practice
Reaction Time Practice
I was just watching popular hot rodding tv. The whole show was about timing at the strip. It went over reaction time, the tree, why someone with a slower et can win, stuff like that. They had a practice tree on the show that they were messing with. I want to practice before i actually make my first run but dont feel like going out and paying for a full practice tree(how much are they?). I figured that i could find a program on the net but had no luck. Anyone know of program or a web site where i can get a program that is just like a practice tree? I did find this program which looks pretty cool but want to see if I can get something like it for free before i cough up the money.

you can get a full tree (portible) for $380 from somewhere. I think Jegs or carpartsonline.com. But if you really want to work on your launches..... if it's pro tree then try it at stop lights. Just dont watch the other lights. And normal trees... just learn to keep a beat. Tap your foot to slow jazz. That usually has about a 90-130 beat, about = to .40-.55 sec per beat. Or just count out seconds and tap 2x a second... then just learn to catch on w/i 1 or 2 beats and you'll have the lights down. Now if it's .4sec trees.... i can't help you much. But my reaction times are anywhere from .490-5.10 when I'm not just messing around, and that's from playing trumpet in a jazz band for 9 years. You just learn your truck with it and the right throttle and you'll get it
