OK, soon I hope.
I have to back-up Houndog on this one, that is ONE GOOD LOOKIN HD. Possibly the best I've ever seen! Now you've got me thinking about trading the Tahoe for one. It never ends and I'm going broke over here!!!

Well I said I was going to the dyno today, so I thought I should pass along the results. First of all, the dyno used was a Dynojet. I know that these are not the most accurate for heavier vehicles, such as our trucks, but I figured I could use the numbers to compare against L's that have run on the same dyno.
We pulled the record on a 01 L and found that in stock form, it pulled 347rwhp (is this typical for those of you that have been on a Dynojet in stock form?). Whether this is accurate really makes no difference. I needed the number to compare against. So we put my big heavy sled on the machine and was expecting to pull anywhere between 295 and 310 (based on my 340 rating). Well my feeling of the truck being underrated apparently was correct. I pulled 336rwhp and 396ft/lb of torque! Needless to say I was happy.
Based on these numbers I don't think Ford changed the sc pulley. I think the 11 hp difference is from the extended exhaust. Other than that, if the truth be known, I think the motors are absolutely identical. As far as the difference in track performance, I think its all a matter of weight.
Of course, what the heck do I know???????
