hi, im new here and am looking to purchase a lightning soon, ive been looking around and came across this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1820652509 and i wanted to know what hood this was, i emailed the owner and he just said "It's a factory hood with aftermarket modification" is that all it is? it looks much different,

Its not a factory hood, I can tell you that much.

I think its a AAD hood, but you can find it in any truckin magazine.

 

it looks like the boss f150 hood

hehe, it advertises no reserve..if you look at the bid price it says reserve not met. eheh.

 

It looks like the Reflexxion hood. It is not the Boss 5.4 hood, as there is no trough down the center.

Ignore the catalog pic, it only comes with the cobra snouts now, not just straight-up cowl.

Wow...a rare lightning with every option including the supercharged 5.4 V8! Wow...I wish I had gotten that option on my Lightning.

Its a reflexxion cowl hood i know i just bought one and am in the process of painting it. Real nice hood though. The under side of the hood looks like it is stock though
