Oil Change?

Alright... this may be a stupid question, but I'm mechanically inept.
When I take my truck in for the oil change, is there anything else that needs to be done regularly? Does the supercharger have it's own source or lubrication? Does this have to be changed? If it does, when?
Thanks for the help.

the supercharger has its own oil. supposed to last for 100k miles but i would probly replace it at 50k(if im not on my third blower by trhen) in other words....unless you drive a few thousand miles a week and are in boost more thant 75% of the time you dont have to worry about it for a while....

I would say no,, i've read through both my owners manual and my svt manual several times before ( i keep it in bathroom) and i've never seen anything about other then oil you need to change. You should of course check transmission fluid levels and make sure everything is running ok though when you change your oil. Good luck with your oil change though, some peole seem to be getting some crappy noise when they change their oil, i stuck with stock oil and stock oil filter and had 3500 miles on the truck when i changed my oil and filter and still have not had a problem at all, but it seems many people have, some have used different oil weights to correct the problem if you've ever read any oil changing posts. I reccomend if I've worried you at all to go through the board here and read up on oil changing threads and see what you think.

people usually only get the noise when they change to synthetic too early. i was planning on changing to synthetic at around 10k just to be safe but since my engine blew before i had the chance i couldnt really do that.

Mine has made the "marble" noise since the first oil change. It goes away after I get about 1000 miles on the oil (don't know why). My truck now has 9500 miles, and my next oil change will be using Mobil1 5W-30 fully synthetic. I am hoping this will help quiet the engine down some. Several people on this board have taken thier truck to the dealership about this "problem", but they have been told this is "normal".

I had my complimentary oil change done by my local Furd dealer at 1091 miles and changed to Mobil 1 5W-30 Synthetic at that time...no noises. Changed my oil again yesterday at 2261 miles and again used the Mobil 1 and have yet to hear the marbles in a can sound. I don't think changing to synthetic too early is the cause of the marbles sound.
