fast sparkplug change

Well, I got my plugs changed today. A buddy of mine (who is a mechanic) said no problem...should be quick. I pulled the truck in at 5:20pm and he pulled it out at 5:55pm (just before he closed at 6:00). That was MUCH quicker than expected, and have heard from many people.

I agree, it can be done fast if the guy knows what he's doing and has every tool handy.

OH YEAH???

Did mine for the first time a couple of weeks ago- and even with the fact that I had crap fall down inside on two plugs (thanks MR. Alarm Technician) It only took me from 4:30 pm when I started to 11:15 pm to complete, start to finish!

ha HA!!! Bet you couldn't top that, if you wanted to!~

If I had some one change my spark plugs that fast, I'd want go back and make sure they were tight.

You can't do it properly in that amount of time.

Cool

HI!... I've done my plugs on my truck about 6 times now and average about 35 minutes. I don't see why people are having such a hard time doing them. I find it quite easy and straight forward. GEEZ you can get the 1ST 3 out on both sides and install new plugs in 5-10 minuts. It's just the two very back plugs that are a bit tricky.I've never had a plug come loose or blow out on me.

It wouldn't bother me if it only took an hour and I KNEW IT WAS DONE RIGHT! Afterall, aren't there some that have had plugs launched from the heads? Better safe than fast... as far as plugs go.
