I just wash mine with a glove after I do the wheels. Everything comes right off no problem for me

Try some Bar Keepers Friend. It is designed to clean and polish stainless steel.

I haven't had to polish mine either. Just wash them so far. If you polish them, look out for the Bassani name. I don't know if it'll polish off or not.

Yeah what soap said. Warm water and soap and even the tar comes off. I also use alittle chrome polish after I've dried them. Smooth.

Maybe you should try a cleaner/wax first. If that don't work, try some polish.

It will be tough regardless, i'll be going to the store now to see what they have, i mean, i already see what appears to be rust spots ( i'm sure they are not cause it is stainless steal,) but they definately lack their shine. Wish me luck.

I use metal polish from these guys... I haven't used it on the tips yet (they're still clean)

But I've used it on other metal, and its good stuff.

My tips now are chrome but i had stainless first. best way i found to polish and clean was a brillo(sp) pad. Just get the big ones and after you wash take the brillo pad to them then i always used my choice was (you can use yours) and waxed them.
I do the same to my Chrome 24x5in. tips works just like a charm....and this will bring ANYTHING off your tips!!!
