Bedrug installed

My Bedrug finally showed up today. So I installed it after work tonight. The entire install took about 1 hour and that includes reinstalling the 4 tie down hooks. Overall, I like it. The fit is good but are a couple places that needed some tweeking. If anyone wants pix without the bed cover, let me know and I will take some before I reinstall the cover tomorrow.

I love my bedrug. Definitely order one. I have considered trying to get someone to embroider a Lightning Bolt or the word Lightning in my bedrug. I think that would be cool.

Bedrug + tonneau cover = trick as heck huge trunk. I have gotten nothing but compliments on how clean the Bedrug makes the bed area of my truck look, and lots of peace of mind for toting stuff around there now. That and the Fold-a-cover are two of the best additions I have made so far.

Question

I am kind of a newbie around here, so my question is, what exactly is a bed rug? From the sound of it, is it like carpet in the bed of the truck or what?Just curious

That's Clonetek's, you didn't recognize it without his rabbit in it.

I've got to get a bedrug, I just keep putting it off. They look soooo good!

It is almost a shame to cover them up. I do not have a cover at this point and people ask me all the time about the bedrug. I had one in a 97 Z-71 and it was the same way, people are amazed by the bedrug. I either want a roll top cover or 2cool - what is a fold a cover?

Clonetek has an Innovations Sport cover and Snuglid does have hydraulic lifts too. Both are real nice.
