Question Exhaust Options...

I want advice and opinions on what type of exhaust to use for a 2001 Lightning.
Option 1) is the complete package by Bassani, which I have heard good things about.
Option 2) is JBA Headers, and then using 2 Borla Turbo mufflers, and then customizing the exhaust to have it come out both sides instead of just the stock passenger side. (a section would have to be cut out of the driver side skirt to match the passenger side exhaust exit).
What do you think? What would sound better? What would perform better? Borla to me is the best exhaust company there is, and I love their sound...But if the bassani package will work better, I'll do that. Can this be done? Or should I just stick with the Bassani package, and not bother with customizing it.

Tell me what you think..

Ryan

You will have to listen to my system
JDM long tube headers, high flow cats and Magnaflow muffler

You will have to come to NewEngland Dragway and hear it. I think you will like.

This has been discussed before....the one main problem is the exhaust piping would be too blose to the gas tank... which would be a serious fire hazard. but if you want you can try.
