Smile Heading to the Dyno ! Any TIPS ??

Just going to get a BaseLine on a Bone Stock 2001 with about 2500 miles. Absolutely no MODS Yet. OK, I disconnected the Boost Bypass.

Just looking for common errors and pointers for good accurate runs.

Turn the OD off and start the run at ~ 3100rpm in 3rd gear.

If I were you, I wouldn't reccomend disconecting the boost bypass because it messes with the engine comp. I can't remember exactly how, but you'd be much better off if you had a kit.

Disconnecting the boost bypass is fine. With your truck being stock though I don't see it doing anything. My bypass has been disconnected for 12k miles.

if you want you can take the snorkel off the air box because you arent gonna be getting any air from the fender wells...also throw a bag of ice on the intake as soon as you drive up so your engine can cool down...that is my $.02.
