They were Broncos and were black with "Nite" on the side.

Ford made "Nite" edition Broncos, F-150s, and F-150 Flaresides. It was just a body package, which consisted of black bumpers, grille, headlight buckets and removed trim, similar to the Gen 1 Lightnings, but these came out in 92 with the new bosy change. The Nites also had a stripe down the side that went from blue to purple, and had the word "NITE" on the rear quarter.

Also, with the Gen 1 Lightning coming in red, white and black, from 95-96 Ford used surplus Lightning parts and built Bronco "sports" that had the bumpers, grille, and headlight buckets from the Lightning, and you could get one in either red, black, or white like the Lightning.

back on MY computer!

Lightning Tuner is correct in every way.

I work with a guy with a flare side nite, which has over 350,000 miles on it!!! he drives it everyday to work, with a round trip of 96miles .. i for the life of me cant see myself driving that far everyday or paying his gas bill!! But he is a true die hard Ford man that says "as long as it keeps rolling i will keep driving her"!

They also made those in '91. A guy is running around here with one that has the square headlights. Still looks to be in pretty good shape too. They were the 'shiznit' before the L. lol

91? Didn't know that... I seen some 91's (and 90's) that were black with a stripe but those didn't have the "nite" on them or the same seats.

Thanks for the info. If you can grab a picture of it sometime i would love to see it.
