Why can't we give him a chance, if he agrees to live by the rules.
Come on with whats going on in the world, why can't we forgive someone. I have had disagreements with him, and I am willing to give him a 2nd chance.
The politics here is getting to me again.

I agree, and we do give most folks a second and third and fourth chance - Typically before they are ever banned. And we have in a few cases unbanned people .
However violating the rules by reregistering with a second name and then posting this type of stuff

But common sense would make that clear.
It makes no sense to give someone a second chance when they are clearly just interested in causeing trouble and getting a reaction.

We have given people second, third and fourth chances on this site in the past and will continue to do so if we feel that the person deserves another chance. "Bulldog" deserves nothing from this site and will get nothing from this site. The numerous personally insulting and inflammatory emails I have received from him, as well as the snide comments he always makes about this site and its moderation on other sites, will make certain this always remains the case. This latest post only serves to reinforce why he adds no value to this community. I recommend to anyone that wants to take up his cause or ridiculously label this as "politics" to do it elsewhere because it will fall on deaf ears on this site. Any further comments about this can be made on other sites, as they are just wasting bandwidth here.
