OK West Coast L's how about we get together and fly one of the tuners out for some custom live chip tuning. I would love to get them to Portland, but to be realistic the Bay area makes the most sense. Send me an e-mail with your choice of tuner. I will gather the info and let everyone know which has the most support. We then contact them set up a date and fly them out. Interested?

 

im up for coughing up some money to have a tuner come out. i live in the bay area so it would be great if they came here. ill email you with who i want if you cant figure it out but i dont know ur email.

Hey, sounds like a great idea! I just bought my 2002 Lightning and I'm looking for an ECU tune up. Keep me posted. I live in Portland, OR as well. A trip to the Bay Area would be fun, if the tuner wouldn't come up here.

Then I would say that this is a great idea. It has been mentioned before, but I don't think any of the tuners wanted to. Hell, a free trip to Cali (while airline prices are low), PLUS reburn prices!!! How can they pass that up??

I am fairly certain that the tuners are will to travel, schedules permitting. Typically what happens is we cover the airfare, lodging, & food. If you already have the brand "X" chip then there is just a nominal fee for the custom tune. If not you would have to buy a chip as well. The only other charge would be for the dyno. Split it up between 6-10 trucks and it wouldn't be that bad.

I'd be interested in a road trip with some other trucks for a custom tune. I'd really like to maximize on the things I've done so far. Keep us posted Bill.

 

Once we get at least 5-6 firm commitments I will contact the chip guru's and get their feedback.
