clutch packs help!!

How easy are these to install (assuming I am getting the factory tech valve body as well)? Also, how much do they cost?? Thanks in advance for any help.

email lightning force performance, or PSP, they both will offer clutch pak upgrades from Factory_Tech, but i dont think they are listed at their websights yet, just shoot them an email, or go to the nloc websight and post under the nloc discounters forums.

here are websights,,

www.nloc.net

http://www.powersurgeperformance.net/index.asp

http://www.lightningforceperformance.com/

or,, here is factory tech's nloc forum,,

http://www.nloc.net/forum/forumdispl...s=&forumid=452

just leave an email adress if you post on the forums and someone is sure to get back to you.

You can't do the clutch upgrades (mine or anyone else's) yourself. It involves dropping the box and digging into the geartrain, requires special tools (if ya wanna buy them, a set would go for about $3,000) and it's something you don't want to be experimenting with if you've never built a tranny before. That said, it is a fairly straightforward install for a tranny guy, any Aamco shop could do it without specail help, and if they need it, they can call me, I'll give assistance over the phone.

hey greg,
when you get the clutchpack upgrade does it just make the tranny stronger or does it improve shifting as well?

thanks

It gives a better shift, but the real advantage is that you could hook it up to the Nimitz and it'll take the torque (just kidding, but it's pretty stout)
