Smile Photo of my latest projects

Just a photo of a few unique item that I have been busy working on.

I also hope to soon post a photo of my Lightning (under the hood all polished and ready to go). No AlienWare to be found anywhere on my truck.

Im going to take it that the botton 5 headers are for a FWD four banger, as the 4-2-1 design and shape.

But once again, great looking stuff!

Cool

Yep! All the items are for 4 bangers. The bottom five are long tube headers for the Ford Focus. You can check out the welds in this photo.

Sorry no coatings on these babies. They are high grade 304 stainless steel that has been polished to a level that chrome can only aspire too. The exception is the turbo header at top which is done in high heat stainless (321)

I know this isn't your area, but what would you do to make a "tunnel" from the bed to the cab? I plan on redoing my stereo and having the box in the bed and have it ported to the cab.

evilguy,,, use fiberglass,,,, i know someone with an L in the detroit area who has done exactly what you are talking about, i'll see if i can have him post here or email you or something. If i can't find him i also know the place he went to to get it done, its the local car tunes here in Allen Park, I even remember the guy who had it done, his quote was " his system was so loud that it just hurt to go in the cab and crank it up" All i remember for now is that he used fiberglass cutouts, or something along those lines, looked great though from what i remember.

Evil Guy,
I would not profess to be an expert here. I am sure that you know that the shape of the sheet metal is designed to strengthen the cab. So by cutting section out you will weaken it and this action will weaken the box too. I'm not saying don't do, I would just advise you to plan well. I have seen it done and the sound is impressive. Strengthening panels can be added and just like the automotive companies do they can be bonded in. You just need to figure out the size of your cut and then design panels that will add strength and dampen the harmonics that you will incur due to the change in the structure.
