Since you guys tune these trucks,What are the differences between 01 and 02 to get these trucks running as low as 13.2 in stock trim??!!

I find it unbelievable that most post are 13.3s or 13.2s in stock trim.What did Ford actually change to allow this?

I can understand the difference btwen 99/00 and 01/02 but it seems even the "unchanged" 01 wasnt running these low times.More like 13.6/7/8s and once in a while 13.5s

What makes the 02s faster and do you think Ford is purposly making these trucks are faster?

Its obviously the computer so is ford actually tuning these trucks similar to you tuners?

the price But really, my 01 pulled stronger on the bottom end than my 99 did

 

I know weather has its advantages ut I also know the difference between 90 and 70 might be alot but under 70, you are not going to notice much of anything.Ive had a couple of thse trucks and raced every week.Cold Cold nights didn do anythng for me .

Also NOBODY was running 13.2s on stock trucks up till this year so it is the trucks

 

some guys were running 13.4's in the 01's

 

Who's running 13.2's in an '02 STOCK????????????????

 

Johnny Lightning drove his new(01-02?) from the dealer 6 miles to the track with a full tank of gas and ran a 13.2xx. He had like 6 miles on the odo. D/k for sure, but I think he removed the hitch and spare???
