Talking Long tubes

Well after picking up my long tubes last weekend at JDM I put a few hours a night (Wed-Sat) and now they are all done. I did this with the truck on stands in my garage so it is possible to do. Just wanted to let everyone know who doubted attempting it at home. I gotta run I will post more about it in a bit.

Talking

Well I have been driving it pretty much all afternoon, and I have to say I love it. The truck has a really low rumble at idle, but when you get on it, it has a very nice growl. I am very pleased with the quality, I was worried after reading Tim's (chickenears) post about all the problems he had with his install. Everything fit together perfect and I had no major tie-ups to slow the process. I hope now if someone is planning on doing this at home they are less afraid than before

Joe,

I sure didn't mean to scare anybody about the install, but I guess I did. Too late to change it now, sorry.

I know you're going to love the system, I do mine, and the quality is there alright.

One of my beefs, with mine, was that the mid pipe didn't have a hanger welded to it and from your pics, I see that yours didn't either. Someone else posted some pics that showed a mid pipe hanger welded on. I had to make mine. Also, I got no instructions, did you? Any kind of instructions would have been nice.

Joe,

Thanks for stopping by tonite. Now my wife wants chromed rims, my son wants a hard tonneau, and I want long tube headers. Please stay away from my neighborhood.

Thank You
Mike

Tim I got no instructions at all but to me it was a pretty simple install........take the old stuff off and put the new stuff on. This is not meant as a flame at all or am I trying to knock you. I guess mine just bolted up easier than yours.
