Damn Exxon/Mobil
Be careful guys,
I got a speedpass to use on the Exxon/Mobil gas pumps (a small black round tube with a mag. chip in it) to speed up my down time at the pump.
Put it on the key chain and forgot about it yesterday. Today driving to work my truck died. I waited and it started back up. It ran a few minutes and died again. The dash was flat and I was showing a security code on the theft system. We looked all day for the problem and nothing made any sense. We reprogramed for the theft system and finally discovered the CPU was damaged.
A shop hand was looking through the manual and found a note about not using these speedpasses because they will damage your start up system. (kind of damn late for me to know now). Anyway I am out a PCU and a full day of hair pulling!
DAMN EXXON/MOBIL FOR PUTTING SOMETHING LIKE THIS OUT AND NOT WARNING US!!!!
I believe I will file this with small claims court and see what happens.
