**The Rims From HELL**
Well for those of you who dont know about the set of 20x10 Boyd Coddington Smoothie 2 rims i have been waiting for monday was 13 weeks
. Well today I get home from work and theres the message i have been waiting for the rims were in come on down. Well i go down there and guess what happened
? Well Since the rims are so big 10 inchs wide, it took a lot of air pressure to get the tire to pop around it. My rim guy told me they were putting well over 120 lbs of pressure in the tire to get it to pop around the rim. Well wouldnt you know it one of the tires ,dunlope sport SP9000's 295/40/20's, blew up and split it even broke through the steel of the tire. Well at least i got to see the rims finally. 3 of them were mounted and they looked badazz cant wait to get them on the truck. He said by tommorrow at 12 they will have another tire there so if i waited 13 weeks another day wont kill me. Oh and for anyone who didnt know the reason the rims took so long in the first place is that when you order rims from Boyd they make them from scratch. Mine came out messed up the first time they were made something to do with the 10 inch wide part wasnt right. Well the waiting $ucked but really werent any other rims i wanted and at least i know these will be quality as Rob G told me his 2 sets from there were. Well tommorrow i know what i will be doing polishing those bad boys up then ill take some pics and post them.

FINALLY!!!!!!
Glad to hear they are in.I am still waiting on my Shaker Hood.It is at the body shop with my Street Scene Wiper Cowl.The hood is top quality barely any prep but the Wiper Cowl is a night mare.So I am still waiting.
Will you be at JDMs on 4/28 so I can see those BOYDS in person?

Tell those rim guys to get some updated machines or people with more experience. The place that did my rims didn't have much trouble with my tires.

They looked sweet i cant wait is it tommorrow yet hehe. They will be getting there first coat of mothers polish tommorrow. Then i gotta get some boyd polish. Rob do you know where to get it from??

Nice Name by the way. Ill be there and hopefully ill have the set mod done i got all the parts and going to see an upholestry guy tommorrow to see what he says.
Ill be going to get the rims in liek an hour i cant wait. And jsut came from the upholstry guy this morning i will be getting the seat done wesnday or thursday. I will take soem pics and post later today of the rims.
