Doesnt make a difference for performance, you will not hit overdrive at the track... HOWEVER, you don't want something funky to happen, so be safe, turn it OFF.

Depends on the track and the section of track you're on. For instance, at Laguna Seca...

Oh never mind, you probably mean the straight kind of track that's real short!

13.4 stock? Awesome!

On the street, do you go up against some pretty mean Mini Coopers?

I matters not...

...because you will prolly not reach 120 mph (this is the speed my L meets converter lock-up) in the 1320' anyway's unless your engine reaches fuel shut off RPM or unless if your truck is geared 456:1 or lower Just leave it in Drive and introduce the back of the gas peddle to the carpeting on the floorboard

Spike,

I've never driven on Sears Point, or Laguna Seca. They are both tracks that I've vowed to drive on before I die. I've been to races at both (so close I could smell the asphalt). Pardon me for a moment. . .I'm daydreaming. . .

I'm getting in on this topic kinda late, but when I took my L (stock) to the track last time I seemed to get slightly better ET's with the OD off. When I have the OD on mine seems to hesitate a slight bit on the 1-2 shift. Anybody else experience this?
