Help with door panel
I need to take the door panels off to change the speakers. Does anyone know how to get them off without breaking them? Does it just snap on and off?
Thanks, Darryl

Remove the plastic insert around the door handle. The trim piece that goes up the side of the door by the window is held by a srcrew... unscrew and remove that trim piece. The door pannel does not pop out... it has lips. Push up on the panel and will come loose. Watch your wires for the windows amd door locks... unplug them and the panel should be free. Hope I did not leave out a step. Been a couple of years since I replaced the speakers.
The key thing I remembered is the panel slides up.
Hope that helps.

The trim piece that is attached to the door frame next to the window and above the door panel is called the 'sail'. Just grasp it and pull it away from the door. You will see a screw that secures the door panel. The other screw is behind the plastic insert around the door handle. Carefully pry it away from the door panel. Both these plastic pieces just clip in. Masterloggie has the other directions correct. One other thing, once the panel is off, you'll find a plastic backing on the door. Use a hair dryer to gently remove this. It's slow work but you won't destroy the plastic. Good luck!
