L bashing on LS1 Truck board

Hey guys, this is getting real old. Not only do these guys sound like ricers (my heavily modded truck will now almost run as good as a bone stock L), but they are badmouthing our trucks left and right.

It never ceases to amaze me that the LS1 car guys have finally started giving some respect to the L's....... but their truck counterparts don't have a clue.

If they want to only pick on problems people have had with the L's...... they need to do some homework in their own backyard, and see all the problems people are having with the new Silverados.

Anyway, feel free to come in and support our cause. http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=70274

I feel dumber for having read that thread. That one guy had like five fords in his sig, that he got rid of. Obviously he didn't have an L, cuz if he did he would know it was worth the problems! Phuckstick!!!

Kind of sounds like this board. "My truck with $5000 worth of modifications can "easily" beat a stock WS6...
And all the guys who say "I'll never buy a dodge because they suck"....talking about beating a truck that isn't even out yet.
Sorry, not trying to start stuff.. it's just that if you really read this board, you see the exact same things when talking about other vehicles.

Yes, if looked at in an unbias way, it doesn't look all that dissimilar to this board. We (collectively, the F150 Online members) do tend to sound somewhat ignorant at times.
From a "ford guy" perspective, they sound like morons!
There are just too may people that don't have a clue when it comes to performance. In fact I would be considered on of them. I spend all of my free time here (on the boards) trying to... get a clue! Thanks to all of you serious racers for sharing, and giving the rest of us the chance to "get a clue"!

We should all try to not sound like thoes guys when talking about the chevys.

Sorry guys but I don't share your opinions...

Being a 01 L owner I can see that I have been purely delusional all along. What I thought was pure driving excitement has only been my ego trying to justify my purchase.

I salute the Chevy owners for bringing me to my senses. What could I have been thinking?!?!? The GM family of vehicles rules! The same company that brought us the Geo Metro, Pontiac Aztec, and so many other cutting edge vehicles is King....I'm going to the dealership tonight and regardless of what it takes, i'm coming home with a Silverado....I bet i'll get 10 times the attention as I usually get with my L.......

Once again, thanks to the faithful, clear thinking GM owners I can release my pain!

PS....Between now and my new purchase, I invite any stock truck in the Phoenix area to a race against my unreliable, poorly engineered stock L.....please put me out of my misery! For pink slips of course.....
