Harley wheels with 295/40/20 rubber

The only tires performancewheel.com sells for the harley reps is a Toyo proxy S/T 295/45/20. I want the lower profile 40 series tire. Looks like i'll be mounting them myself.

Question

Will the increased diameter of a 20 inch wheel and 45 series tire affect acceleration much? Will the extra unspung weight at each wheel make the ride much worse? I heard the harley wheels are VERY heavy. Thanks for any replies.

Yea, the Harley wheels are very heavy. Dont know how much they weigh but , heavy they are. I am planning to get 294/45/20 in Yokohamas. They look nice and should handle way better than the GT2's.
