Please help me 4lb, or 5lb?

I have been so confused as to which pulley to get. I Drive the truck everyday, but I want it to haul a$$. I am probably going to be doing a chip, MAF, stage II intake, possibly supercooler, hopefully longtube headers. Which pulley should I go with? I don't want to get the 4lb and be unhappy, but is the 5lb safe? Thanks for any suggestions!

go with the 5 or a 6 the bigger the better. i got 32,000 miles on mine and i have had a 6 on for bout 6k miles. and be4 that i had the 3 on for bout 15k. no problems. in fact maybe later on i may put a 1-2 lb upper as well. but i wouldnt go with the 4. not for what u described as wanting to do with yours.

When I got mine I was recommended by JL the 5 , I was stepping up from a 3 and had my mind set on the 6 , but JL told me I would be happy with the 5 so I got the reburn and I am very happy, I'm sure he could of sold me the 6 , but he was up front so I took the 5. I am very happy with it .

A different truck from stock to 3 .
A very very different truck from 3 to 5 , and I drive it at least 35 miles each way to work a day. no probs and no det at all

Go with what you feel comfortable with, but be prepared for any unplanned engine damage.

If you want it bulletproof, upgrade your engine internals. Then go crazy with the mods

Thanks for the input!

Thank you all very much for your input. I think I'm gonna go with the 5lb pulley with the Diablo chip. I want to roast any car on the way to work or school. Makes me feel good about myself. Thanks again.
