I talked to the guy that won that bogus L engine on ebay

I emailed the winner and just asked him if he had gone through with the transaction on that engine auction that had a mustang motor picture. The reason i did this is because i went back to see if any feedback had been given either way, and the seller of the engine is no longer a ebay member. The guy that won mailed me back and said that he got a message from ebay that the transaction was closed, and he said the guy quit respnding to him when he found out the winner was from charlotte and probably wanted to pick it up.
Anyway, heres what he had to say....

Hey...yeah, I won the auction, but I am not getting many respones from the seller...I have also received a message from eBay tellin me that they closed the guys account, SO, what this all means is that there really WASNT any motor for sale!! Of course I havent sent him ANY $$. The motor was suppose to be here in NC (Wilmington), I live in Charlotte. When I told seller this, he stopped responding to me. It All comes down to Fraud....He was trying to get somebody, far away, to Western Union him the $$. In otherwords, GIVE HIM $1425.00!!! Not me fellas!!! Thanks for the concern!!

That's odd that the winner was from Charlotte because I live in Charlotte and emailed the seller about the engine. I told him I wanted to listen to the engine run and I would come to Wilmington go pick it up.

He quit responding to me also.

Hey Tim, he might have known you had them chikenears to listen to the motor with and the seller got scared, ran off into hiding and closed out his ebay account.

Good gesture on helping the guy out Jeff. Some pretty good ol boys over there in K-town

He really needs to be taken to an open field, ventilated, and plowed under. Nobody would miss him, and he'd help feed the world.
