If you are not running nitrous or at least a 4lb pulley the TR6's will dissapoint! I recommend the TR5';s . Not as cold and perfect for your application.

I do not recommend the TR5s for any application, even a stock truck.

Houndog, I've seen many failed TR5s, even in bone stock trucks. TR5s are stock heat range, so I really don't see a reason to put them in for anything.

Ally69, the TR6s are perfect for a stock truck, to one with up to +3 psi over stock. Past that, and we suggest the Denso IT-20s from +4 psi to +5 psi. With +6 psi or more, we suggest the BR7s, or the Denso IT-24s.

We have been testing the different Desnos, and really didn't see any difference between the 20s and 22s. The 24s are working very well on trucks that required BR7s, but they don't have the occasional twitch that the BR7s sometimes have.

These are our plug recommendations, from all of our experiance. I'm sure other vendors or customers may disagree or have different views.

What Sal said makes complete sense. I spoke with Jim at JDM a while back about the TR 5's and he stated they're great unless you run 6# pulley, 4# plus upper, or a big shot of NOS. Who knows!!!!
