Tools
K, i have decided on the Craftsman 254 pcs/with toolbox special for $199. So i went to Sears to get it and not only was it not in stock but i also forgot my wallet!!! RETARD!
Anyway, i am hoping to put Eibach Front Springs, cam kit, rear drop shackles, rear leaf springs, hotchkis sway bars, 22" wheels and tires, a 4lb pully, a deep sump trans pan, line mod valve and a cool air induction kit, starting tomorrow.
Im guessing im gonna need a jack and jack stands and a TON of other stuff to do all this, like breaker bar etc. Anyone know of show stopper tools that I will need to complete the above?
ONCE AGAIN YOU GUYS RULE!!

Can't go wrong with a Craftsman tool set. Yes, there are better tools out there but for the average Joe, Craftsman will do the job just fine. A few items that I've found useful that weren't mentioned are a 1/2" or/and 3/4" drive breaker bar. Also get some adapters to allow you to use different size sockets on your ratchets. This will save you some money on sockets. Also, I think Sears still sells two different ratchets. The difference is finer ratchet teeth (i.e. how far you need to move the handle before it ratchets). Used to be Sears put their cheap one in the tool set and the good one was extra. Go for a good one if you have the option. It can be a life saver in tight spots. You won't regret it.
Whoa dude slow down a little, thats a big list to install. And don't take offense to this but if you don't have a set of tools I would guess that you don't do this kind of work alot. And if that is the case then you might jsut be overwhelmed.
wheels and tires- no problem
line mod and transpan - very messy, you will need a small tub to catch the fluid in and a torque wrench (in lbs.)
cool air - pretty easy
shackles - easy
leaf springs - kinda hard to get them of the hangers b/c of loctite, but direct swap
front springs - may be over you head
definately need a good jack and jack stands.
Again no offense, but I and 99% of everyone else on this board doesn't want to see you get overwhelmed/discouraged or screw something up. Take your time. If you don't have the right tools alot of installs can be very hard if not near impossible. You don't want to rush out and buy tools just to get to mod installing quicker. Because then things like having your front end apart and you release you need to run to the store to get another tool happen.

Great points! And no offense taken.
I put a racecraft suspension (springs, shocks, struts, bushings, etc) on my 96 gt. It wasnt easy, took a long time and i used a buddies garage and tools. Time to do it on my own.
I think i am going to hold off on the leaf springs and see how the 2" drop shackles work.
I'll probably wait on the pully as well, i just really want to get the suspension done this weekend.
What about the sway bars?
How tall of jack stands? Especialy for the front springs. Sears has a 3ton 2jack stand package deal for sale and i think the jack stands are like 18" or so. How would that be?
What about the pully? How hard is that and are there any special tools? Im getting the interchangable jdm.
